Description

Finca el Armijo currently belongs to the heiresses of Bodegas Gaspar Florido. Its origins date back to the end of the 17th century. It is located in the Pago de Miraflores, better known as the Pago del Armijo. Its extension consisted of 34.5 hectares of vineyards, currently we have twenty-four hectares divided into different plots. In some of them the vines have reached an age of more than fifty years.

The farm has a viewpoint that stands out over the horizon of vineyards, standing out this large vineyard house with traditional architecture, which is kept in an excellent state of conservation. The house has a central patio, stables, a cistern, a cellar, outbuildings, etc… It stands out for maintaining the original tile with the name “Armijo” on its façade and for a monolith with a stone base, column and a cross of forging.

Viña el Armijo is in a new stage, with a generational change that has gone hand in hand with the birth of a new white wine made from 100% grapes from our farm that came out in 2016, called 12 Liños.

Among our new projects, we will soon have visits accompanied by tastings.
