Description
Located in the Doñana Nature Park, close to the Monte Algaida agricultural colony.
La Algaida is a stone pine forest (Pinus pineá) that covers 691 hectares. Its formation is due to the silting of the Guadalquivir estuary brought about by the tidal sands of the coastline and the sediments dragged along by the river.
In its interior stands the Chapel of Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
