PINAR DE LA VILLA

Description

Villa Pinewood takes its name from the groups of stone pines concentrated in the region of Majadales (both High and Low).

Species of vegetation to be found in this natural space are: fan palms, white rockrose, bushes and scrubland, most outstanding its white Spanish broom and mastic trees.

Fauna of the Pinewood: amongst the mammals to be found are rabbit and dormouse, species of birds include blackcaps, Sardinian warblers, wood warblers, common finches, greenfinch and robin. The reptile community is favoured by the presence of the ocellated lizard and ladder snake, not forgetting the common chameleon, of great importance given its being categorized as “Vulnerable”.
